There’s a lot of shit that Wilson got away with (even if only for a short while) in the name of fighting a world war that Trump could only dream of. Warrantless wiretaps are shocking, but imagine government censors reading your mail for signs of “dissent”? And I don’t mean soldiers mail, I mean John Q Public finding out he’s suddenly facing criminal charges of “dissent” because he questioned the need for soldiers in Afghanistan.
