People in what became the Likud party were responsible for things that have made Israel’s life hard, like Deir Yassin, Al-Dawayima, the purging of Ramla and Lydda, and the assassination of Count Folke Bernadotte (a big factor in the extremely frosty relations between Sweden and Israel).
