It’s stories like these (Zombie’s post) that make me cling to the notion that the current-day media will someday get it’s comeuppance from historians. The failure of the media will emerge as one of the defining characteristics of Early 21st Century Political Science 101. Sure, it might not be until 2050 that the course is taught, but the media breakdown has been studiously recorded and nobody will be able to deny it.

It’s already being taught by a few professors (most of whom have contacted me directly, asking to used my stuff as course materials. Because they’re “on our side,” I give them permission, gratis.)
