GAHHHHH — it’s not MUTE, it’s MOOT. A mute point is one that cannot be heard, not one that’s irrelevant.

I figured as much. I was thinking about that while typing but was too lazy to check. Since I can’t edit my post I think it’s fair to say that this point is moot.
