The Nazi movement here never went away after Lindburgh’s America First movement, they just went underground.

After George Wallace’s electoral defeat, his Youth for Wallace group became the most dangerous Nazi group seen in the USA, the National Alliance. Spencer, Taylor, and others like them grew up with NA ideology.

While Gov. Wallace was not a Nazi, he was a supporter of the Ku Klux Klan (although late in life he renounced his segregationist ways) and there really isn’t much difference between the groups except for their tailors.
