How hot is “hot as hell”? And no AC, bummer.

you’d have to ask Swimmer about the temps there… as for the AC, our house in 1940’s construction, with nice thick walls. we installed two atic fans to keep it at ambient, and with the new double windows, the house stays relatively cool all day, as we power vent in the cool evening air all night, sealing everything up in the early morning…

it’s kinda like living in an igloo cooler, but it gets the j*b done. our house is cooler than the neighbors, and they’ve got AC. %-)
