That he’s anti-gay in the first place is pretty damn awful. That he’s whooping it up at a gay-friendly nightclub and then getting into a DUI on his way out— that’s jerkass behavior. I don’t care if he’s actually gay or not.

I do wish that everyone who was such a bigot towards gays (and any other group) had a simple, mystical penalty: not being able to enjoy a single thing produced by that group. You hate ‘em so much? You want them not to be part of mainstream culture? You can do without what they add to our culture and our world.

I don’t think that would be much of a punishment. There is plenty of creativity and innovation coming from all segments of society, regardless of their sexual preferences.
