Besides being the investigative service for Navy and Marine Corps, is also a pretty cool TV show: Wiki: NCIS.

Highly enjoyable. My father won’t watch it because he feels it’s not ‘realistic’ enough. OK, there were more shots fired in the field in the show’s first episode than there have been in the entire history of the NCIS, and they have a Mossad agent on special assigment to them, but on the other hand there is no one in the regular cast I don’t want to sleep with, so how bad could it be? Also, it’s funny, woman-positive, and the writing is first-rate.
