The problem with this argument is that it assumes that the whole thing was an “honest mistake” on the part of Bernie, that he just read the headline or had it read to him and didn’t do the research. But his remarks in the last 24 hours makes it clear that he doesn’t feel it was a mistake, he feels that he’s somehow the victim, not only of an “attack” by Hillary, but also of being humiliated by the press. So to argue that this is somehow the fault of a WaPo editor lets him off way too lightly, which is totally in line with the media’s efforts to maintain this illusion of his being a viable candidate when most of us on the outside can see that he’s crashing and berning.

Exactly, he’s running for President while demonstrating the reading comprehension skills and reactionary temper of a boy going through puberty. I’m getting progressively more and more alarmed by this ongoing display of childish behavior.
