McCain is ahead of Hayworth now in the R primary, but it’s a long way to the August primary. If gas prices go up, like everyone predicts, then McCain’s opposition to ANWAR drilling will become a campaign issue.

I’ve been trying real hard to thing of something good that could come out of the trainwreck that the Republican party has become. This is it, we could actually, finally, elect a third party president. Well, if we had an actual third party. No, the Greenies and such don’t count. Would be great if they called themselves something like The Ambivalent Party, or maybe The Fence Sittin Party, or even The Moderation Party.
