Interesting. It grants you the right to have a weapon (pistol) in your home. But it doesn’t prevent the State (50 of them and what? 2 Territories ) from implementing rules on how they must be stored/secured. Many ambiguities. Until the lower Courts (re)rule, and are challenged it’s still up in the air.
I can see/predict that some of them will rule, yes you can have it in your home, but, it must be unloaded, ammo stored separately and a trigger lock installed. Basically, rendering it useless.
