read a blurb recently about a guy trying to hire two experienced sheet metal fabricators…80k a year and all the bennies…he went thru hundreds of applications and could not fill 2 jobs

only one of those I saw recently was they wanted to pay some welders 40,000 and were complaining that nobody would take the job.

Then, buried in the article, was the fact they went to a job fair and their competitors were offering 50,000. But because they couldn’t get any takers for 40,000, people aren’t “really” looking for work.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the blurb about the fabricators if you can find it. I’d like to see one that didn’t have crap like that buried inside.
