Naval types are embarrassed over minor collisions with wharfs, and whole careers have gone down the tubes over them. I can’t imagine what colliding with a shoal in harbor is going to do.

The Squadron commander is even sweating bullets. “Failure of Leadership” I think is the Navy term.
