Honorary Yooper, you here? Saw your post above about the Great Lakes water levels rising and it is good news, indeed. Small cloud on that silver lining? My folks’ place on Lake MI now has 1/4 the beach it had 2 years ago. Still good news, though.

It’s good that they’re rising again, and all apparently due to natural causes. However, I think we still need to be vigilant about the use of the water from the Lakes i.e. it should not be used for the Southwest or sold overseas.

Found a bunch of neat science links this morning. I usually look for really neat links or ones that are thought provoking (even if I disagree with them).
