Just because Brat hammered one theme, doesn’t mean that theme was why voters cast their ballots for him.

According to #55 then the people of VA07 voted for Brat who appears to even oppose a pathway to citizenship yet they themselves support it. So basically they just voted for him because they didn’t like Cantor and once again, as most Republicans love to do, against their own interests.
