Christian pastor: If atheists canā€™t see coronavirus but believe itā€™s real, why donā€™t they believe in God? (Deadstate)

I donā€™t know, can we put him in a CRISPR unit, or see him under an electron microscope?

During a fiery sermon live-streamed on Facebook Sunday night, right-wing pastor and radio host E.W. Jackson had a few words for atheists, excoriating them for not believing in God because they canā€™t see him while believing in a virus that they also canā€™t see.

ā€œThink about the irony of this,ā€ he said. ā€œThink about the irony of this. Iā€™ve had people say things like this to meā€¦ Usually in comments, after I put out some live-stream event or something like that, hereā€™s what theyā€™ll say: ā€˜You know, you got fools who believe that some imaginary man in the sky, that they canā€™t see is gonna protect them, and yet, theyā€™ll crawl off into a corner cringing over a virus that they canā€™t see.ā€

Jackson then paused dramatically.

ā€œNow think about the irony of that.ā€ he said. ā€œYou canā€™t see it! ā€¦ Theyā€™re cringing in fear. ā€¦ You tell them about God and (unintelligible) they donā€™t know that they need to be a lot more afraid of God than they are of this virus.ā€

Bullshit, Bishop. A variant of ā€œno atheists in foxholesā€ argument.
