My son and his trans girlfriend are really more saddened by JK Rowling’s nonsense than anything else. Both grew up with Harry Potter and we’re huge Harry Potter geeks. The whole thing is tainted now because his girlfriend is very dear to us and it hurts her to hear. I’ve rarely been as disappointed in a person as I am with JK Rowling.
