Every other year for the last 20 years, I’ve opened the newspaper or clicked a news link to the latest “controversy” surrounding a children’s book featuring LGBTQ characters that has been deemed haram by wingnuts over the idea that it is “brainwashing” kids into accepting and even adopting such lifestyles.

It is in keeping with the RW doctrines that gays are “unnatural” and since they are incapable of reproducing, they have to propagate themselves by recruiting and converting new members, preferably from among the young and impressionable.
