Slipping and falling on ice sucks.

I did it very gracefully yesterday, for once. Long slipping slide forward with the right foot, left leg buckling elegantly under me, butt and shoulders taking the impact. My head didn’t even touch the pavement.

Usually I end up with an ankle the size of Ahnold’s neck, and hobble around for weeks. The people who rushed out from the store were impressed with my lithe bounceback.
