The newspapers are getting killed. So the ‘gubbamint’ is trying to figure out a way to subsidize them by forcing blogs to pay them for content used…so somebody like say, Drudge, would get it handed to him.

Control, it’s what’s for dinner.

But Drudge is mostly just links to the news outlet’s sites, no? Isn’t Drudge doing them a big favor in a way? I could be seeing this issue all wrong, so let me know if there’s something I’m missing.
