Possibly — which sets up another dynamic. What proportion of Romney voters will refuse the Tea Party candidate in the general? I know it depends in part on who actually wins (Perry keeps more than Bachmann, for example). It will still be a factor.

Not sure, but when Candidate Bachmann is going head to head against Obama on November 4th, I’ll have to resist the urge to drive to Chicago so that I can offer Dark Falcon a friendly smile, hearty handshake and probably the drink he’ll be wanting after he casts a vote to reelect Obama…
