Is it fair enough to say that humans were meant to be spiritual beings? I mean the fact that we have so many religions and belief systems of different stripes as well as the nearly universal habit of frequently considering the big questions like “where did we come from?” and “why are we here?” seem to suggest that we are predisposed to ponder our origins and our nature.
I wonder if there’s any way to see if other animals go through similar thought processes or if these kinds of thought truly are limited to humans.
You mean you don’t believe in doggie heaven/hell?
