My grandpa, the lumberjack/mechanic, used to make some of his own tools by brazing different metals together. He had hand pump kerosene torches.

I wish I had picked up more of his tools when he died, but I was only 17 so I had no idea how important his stuff would become for me.

I have my grandfather’s homemade air compressor. Sure, it takes 15 min to get up to pressure, but it’s still running and I have no idea how old it is.
