If that nutbar who wants the South to secede again gets his way, Texas won’t be on that map. Too many Mexicans here. God doesn’t like that, apparently.

I used to think that politics was about winning people over to your point of view and that democracy was about finding compromises and working out solutions-

But now it seems that politics is now about belittling and demonizing anyone who disagrees with you (or looks like they would if you asked them) and democracy is about seceding and founding your own independent entity where you can do everything the was you want to see it done.
