I fear you are correct. UpChuck seems to lack the ability to admit errors or be responsible for his situation. I can see him targeting those who he blames for his problems. Hope those around him are taking precautions.

As the heat ramps up, he’ll start to feel persecuted and betrayed by his once-loyal followers. When that happens, there’s a tendency to lash out at the ‘persecutors’ or ‘traitors’ responsible for his downfall, or simply for his dreams of a media empire failing to come to pass.

And in Chuckles’ case, he’s got a really big dream of being some kind of kingmaking media mogul.
