That reminds me of August in Las Vegas. I’m usually there for about a week, and daytime temperature is usually 105-110 F. Then one year it was 99, and it felt like a cold wave.

Last time I was in Las Vegas, on my birthday in 2016, it rained and the temperature got down to 72° F. It was lovely.
