We were hoping for an inch or two of rain today. We got .35 inches in South Austin, around .7 downtown. This summer is looking to be hot, dry, and crop evil.

And the dry line looks like a crescent from Central Texas through NM and AZ, through central and west CA and straight up to Canada via OR, WA, and ID.

I have a feeling this is going to be a grim, grim fire season.
