What drives me nuts about these assholes is that they make it virtually impossible these days to criticize works without running the risk of being lumped in with “those assholes.” For example, as a Trek fan, I’ve seen way too many discussions about the issues with “NuTrek” that have devolved into the critics being universally accused of being “misogynists” or “bigots” because the more common whines from wingnuts are either about the number of prominent women in the series or the presence of racial/sexual/religious minorities.

My problem with Picard was that I found it boring and that it did not hold my interest throughout the season, in fact I gave up after episode 5 or 6.
