Charles, guilty as charged. God is there. He is not silent. He has spoken and we have access to that revelation. Like many of the founders I believe in the “Laws of nature” (science, logic, reason) and “nature’s God” (Judeo Christian revelation).

It must keep you busy labeling and profiling all your lizards.
