Simple. You get rid of the male/female category’s. You judge the participants on their ability, not their sex. Those who can’t compete and win in one class move down to a lower class and the converse if you compete and consistently win in one class, move up to a higher class.

And what you’ll have is almost exclusively men in the top class of all sports, with the best women playing in the minor leagues. Sorry, but I don’t think that’s a good solution.

In the end, it’s likely that there’s no completely fair solution that doesn’t screw SOMEbody.
