I just saw Pete Williams on MSNBC ask about the security on campus. “Should there be more armed guards on campuses?”

The answer to that is “no.” Its a freaking community college, not a prison. What the hell kind of country are we in where I’m being told I need to walk around armed and vigilant when I walk into a classroom or into a movie theatre?

I don’t care if the zone I’m in is not gun free. I DONT WANT TO HAVE TO WALK AROUND ARMED 24/7 IN “THE GREATEST NATION ON EARTH”

The NRA vision of everyone in the US going around heavily armed at all times for no good reason is a hellish dystopia.
