Trump Va. campaign chair Corey Stewart fired for organizing protest outside RNC

Corey Stewart, the Virginia campaign chair for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, has been fired after organizing a protest outside the Republican National Committee headquarters Monday.

“He is being replaced, effective immediately,” Trump deputy campaign manager David Bossie said of Stewart, who is chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors. “Corey made this decision when he staged a stunt in front of the RNC (without) the knowledge or approval of the Trump campaign.”
