The “serious” wingnut defense for Trump’s empty threats seems to be that this is all some elaborate strategy aimed at getting China to yank Lil’ Kim’s chain. Thing is, in order to argue that Trump is “better” than Obama, they’re left trying to characterize this as a sign of “strength,” as opposed to being “weak” by…you know…engaging in diplomacy to get China to yank Kim’s chain.

They don’t want a leader. They want a chest-thumping gorilla that regurgitates things they wanna hear.
