I had a lot of friends in grade school and high school that likely had undiagnosed attention deficit disorders and they unfortunately got labeled as problem children. Happy to see that there are some studies out there suggesting that “disorder symptoms” may actually be linked to optimal behavior in certain contexts.

My undiagnosed ADD allows me to be a really good programmer because I can mentally shuffle through multiple possible solutions that others can’t. It also leads me here more often than I should be.
