You are 100% correct. But Western liberals still want the fig-leaf of a “Two-State Solution” while inwardly hoping for the destruction of Israel.

They want a two state solution -Palestine and Palestine II.
That is, one of those would have been Israel before the “right of return” they insist on was exercised.
