From the LGF Dictionary, Dar-ul-Islam means “House of Islam,” or “House of Submission” or “House of Peace.” Any country under Islamic rule, or — more commonly — all Muslim countries as a group.

Darul Islam is Wahabbi, in India they are the group that issued the “Anti-Terror” Fatwa, however at the time I looked at it with jaundiced eye because the people pimping the fatwa were using it more as a platform to flog the Indian Gov’t for terror investigations and Islamophobia. There’s also a Darul Islam (alt spellings I’ve seen: Darool Islam, Dar Ul Islam, etc. ) that was involved in some contretemps in the NE, but I can’t remember the details atm.
Their sites which I used to visit were pretty extreme up to a year ago, but since have “cleaned up”.
