Imagine the amount of CO2 released by that thing! Not to mention the amount of ice it is melting.

Actually, as I understand it, not much in terms of CO2. It’s mostly ash (particulates).

Could in fact help with global warming, especially if we could do controlled volcanic eruptions around the global. Kind of a low-level nuclear winter effect.
