You have to admit the playing field (unions vs. corporations) is more than a little bit uneven. Citizen’s United cuts one way shallow, and the other to the bone.

Not only that, but really, should unions have the ability to spend infinite money to influence elections, leaving aside what corporations can do? I don’t think anyone should be allowed to produce as much propaganda as they want supporting to influence elections without at least having to report publicly where the money came from and where it is spent.

Maybe. But this is the rules that they’re given. My only point is that the Democrats can also use Citizens United to their advantage. Until it’s reversed through congress we’ll have to live with it. I frankly think it should be “reversed”.
