I disagree. Mitt Romney isn’t that stupid or ham-handed. But his refusal to be so would have enraged many wingnuts.

A presidential candidate who went to the NAACP in order to tell them to their faces that they’re scroungers for wanting health care for the working poor is scum below scum, he is limitlessly stupid and ham handed, he is Donald Trump with a better mask.
