To listen to the war mongers that hate so much of the middle east and its ordinary people…The death of Steven Sotloff is supposed to make me angry today. As if I was not shocked and dismayed and yes, angry as anyone at previous atrocities by ISIS?! As if those other lives meant so much less. *spit*

Sure i’m angry, and sadly enough if you put a big red button on the desk in front of me right now and told me it was connected to a drone with a missile aimed right at these guys that did the execution I’d push it. But it’s never ever that easy.

What made ISIS possible to begin with is what has to go. Then maybe the militants can be put down or chased to irrelevance. Even begin to get that backwards and its all a butchers bill to no end at all. This President and the er, adults in the room get it. The media, the pundits, the lobbyists for Raytheon won’t ever get that.

I have to partially disagree. Reform can’t wait for the war to end,I agree, but it is going to have to be done while ISIS is getting pummeled. Because the enemy will not stand still and wait while things in Baghdad are reformed. So yes, we have to hold the new Iraqi government to its promises, but we need to be bombing ISIS at the same time.
