Belief, by it’s very definition, doesn’t require empirical evidence.

I think this is a common dodge that religious people attempt. A belief that doesn’t require evidence is just as likely to be false as it is to be true. When there’s evidence to the contrary, it’s actually probably false.

Science does require it. I wold never attempt to disprove science by way of belief/faith,

Of course. There will always be people who will continue to believe whatever they want in the face of evidence. Look at #TCOT or #TGDN to see this in action every single day.
