I have no doubt that Moonfall will be an FX spectacular. There’s very little Roland Emmerich seems to enjoy more than completely destroying human civilization. It’s being co-written with his collaborator on 2012 - which is a good sign, because 2012 was a pretty damn good disaster flick.

Once you ignored all the physics and everything else scientifically involved, maybe.
(I watched it with two geologists and I was the person saying “It doesn’t work that way.” constantly. They’d both essentially turned their brains off right at the beginning knowing that the science was never going to make any sense.)
