Here, it’s becoming tragicomic farce.

The reason the government went with some no-name rinky-dink outfit is quite simple….they want to save money and/or the owner of the aforementioned no-name rinky-dink outfit is well-connected to someone high-up in the government (friend or relative or something). Unfortunately, because the ongoing official state of emergency allows the government to procure necessary goods and services without competitive bidding, and in total secrecy, there’s a good chance we’ll never know for sure. But I really wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t some cronyism or nepotism involved.
