You can’t help how people label you. Sometimes you just have to go with it. You can’t fight it either.

He just does what he does. If people want to call him a Maverick, they will. But he says that he doesn’t think of himself that way, and I have no reason to think he is lying.

Then you are willfully ignorant. John McCain saying he doesn’t think of himself as a Maverick is about as genuine as Terrell Owens saying he never thought of himself as a star.

It’s total, completely and utter bullshit. It’s not “other people” who created this label… he did.
