The republicans don’t need to do anything special, this administration is headed for a cliff. The economy is really going into the shitter and most clear thinking Americans are aghast at the whole GM bailout and the out of control spending.
One thing that needs to stop, is conservatives demonizing the religious right, thats what looney liberals do, stop buying into their utter bullshit propaganda. We DO need to a big tent. Conservatives tend to get more conservative as time goes by, so I don’t have problem with guys like McCain being in the party, so long as they don’t trying and tell us that to get elected, we need to e more like Democrats.
