Seen me being raised by Northerners, I see states that are usually the worst to live in by any metric, and are still not accepting of minorities. I will give you BBQ, but most of the south, save the somewhat redeemed areas in a handful of major cities, and to some extent Virginia and Florida, strike me as being as backwards as the Tribal regions of Pakistan.

Again, I will give you the BBQ, but I am still of the opinion that the best way to fix the US is to have immigrants pour into the south.

My opinion of the South is not too far removed from the SNL skit about Clinton in the early 90s.
