Yeah. Amazing how not letting your husband know what drives you up the wall instantly solves all family and relationship problems.
There is of course, something to the idea of not trying to run one’s husband’s life, a.k.a. basic respect, but the idea that women magically control the dynamics of a relationship by backing off and letting the man set the rules and the pace is a bunch of hokum.
How about respect, honesty and flexibility on both sides?

It’s basic relationship dynamics. Just as with friends, married partners need to treat each other like human beings - like how we would want to be treated. I can’t walk all over my wife, and she can’t nag me to death. They teach that in the very first session of pre-marital counseling. Along with, “Always be honest.”
