Looks like Turkey is going into “full shutdown” from 29 April to 17 May.

From what I’ve heard from my Turkish friends, President Erdoğan said it was to bring cases down ASAP, because they’re desperately trying to save this summer’s tourist season, which begins in June. International tourism is a significant segment of Turkey’s economy and the government likely reckons their battered economy can’t take too many more hits.
