This. The PRC has pushed bullshit theories about ethnic Han Chinese being descended from another line of humans which are descended from Homo Erectus rather than Homo Sapiens.

Never mind the whole part about if you were that far separated from the rest of the Human species, it could be easily figured out in DNA, and you would likely not be able to, or have severe difficulty inter-breeding with the rest of us.
