The Budget with No Numbers

GOP has weeks to come up with an alternative and then they can’t even put up numbers. Nice. The media will filet them as usual, and deride their actions as obstructionist all while ignoring that the GOP now can’t even engage in any actions in the House or Senate to block legislation because they don’t have the numbers and because the Democrats are using every parliamentary trick to prevent debate.

But it’s not as though the GOP is alone in this game. The Democrats own spending plan is vaporware. The budget is determined to double the deficit in 4 years time, and that’s after doubling it this year. There is absolutely no attempt to reduce spending, and Obama’s entire plan for governance is expanding state spending beyond what anyone with a functioning neuron would believe to be fiscally responsible.

These same journalists who will rightfully snort over the GOP efforts will look the other way as the Democrats spend their way into oblivion.

The GOP failed bigtime because they got away from being fiscally responsible. They’re failing now because they just aren’t responsible.

And they’re quick on the heels of Democrats in that regards.
